In 2000, at the dawn of the new millennium, GuruGanesha Singh, a life-long musician, decided he was ready to take his love of music and eastern-inspired spirituality to a larger venue. He felt that the sacred music genre had a much bigger place in the world than it had been filling, so he embarked upon a mission to make an impact.
To serve that inspired dream, Spirit Voyage was born. Spirit Voyage Records and Spirit Voyage Music were formed to serve as the platform for the recording and distribution of recordings, and Spirit Voyage Live Events was formed to support the development of live concert tours, workshops and retreats for sacred music artists.
Today, Spirit Voyage Live Events is proud to represent some of the most compelling talent in the sacred/world music genre, booking over one hundred events world-wide every year.
Akalsahai Singh:
Akalsahai Singh joined the Spirit Voyage Live Events team in 2005 and has played an instrumental role in the day-to-day operations of the business, as well as its tremendous growth. His love of sacred music, genuine love of people and inspired creativity have made him the perfect fit for this business. Trained attentively by his father GuruGanesha Singh, Akalsahai Singh grew from his role as Tour Assistant to Tour Manager, and now serves as President of Spirit Voyage Live Events.
GuruGanesha Singh:
GuruGanesha Singh is an icon of the yoga music genre. A musician deeply devoted to both his craft and the greater landscape of sacred sound, GuruGanesha's contribution to World Sacred Music is manifold. His three solo releases of Sikh-inspired chant music enhanced by his virtuoso guitar work, Joy is Now, Pure Ganesh and Grateful Ganesh, are beloved by his fans world-wide. Pure Ganesh put GuruGanesha Singh on the map as a solo musician, topping New Age charts in early 2007 and receiving high critical acclaim from magazine reviewers in both New Age and Yoga publications. Long before GuruGanesha Singh released his solo albums, he was the force behind many well -known chant musicians, including Snatam Kaur, Thomas Barquee, and Mirabai Ceiba. In addition, he has released several albums with other world-renowned artists including Game of Chants with Guru Singh and Grammy-winning singer Seal.
RaviInder Kaur:
RaviInder Kaur has been a nurturing force within Spirit Voyage since its inception, and brings 17 years of bookkeeping, organizational, and customer service experience to the Tour Management side of the business. Music, healing, and spirituality have always been a part of RaviInder's life, so she's very excited to be working with passionate artists who offer their talents in these ways.
